The short “XP” appears commonly in various situations, and it can point to entirely different things according to the area in which one finds it. Among the most common uses stands the ddrum DD Beta XP which forms an electronic drum kit. It has a black surface with red details and looks truly modern.
In the kit you find three pads for one-zone drums, one two-zone pad for snare, one pad for bass drum with pedal, two crash cymbals and one hi-hat pad with regular pedal for hi-hat. Everything sits on a small stand, which makes it good for tight spaces.
The DD Beta XP works well for use at home or for practice. It allows you to exercise without bothering the neighbours. Only because of that it becomes a good option for drummers that must keep quiet.
What makes the DD Beta XP different from the regular DD Beta? The XP version arrives with a two-zone snare drum, a pad for bass drum with pedal and a regular pedal for hi-hat. Also it carries an improved module.
This new module stores 170 sounds, recording ability, up to four user settings, settings for sensitivity, play along to songs and a metronome. Like this the XP version does surpas the basic one.
Beyond the drum kits, “DD XP” also shows in the area of video games. In Dungeons & Dragons Online the experience points matter a lot. A first run on Reaper difficulty delivers a 95 percent prize, while Elite gives 50 percent rewards.
Going from level 20 to 30 requires an extra 8.25 million XP. The fastest way to level involves a 50 percent boost, a 5 percent gift, a 10 percent VIP prize and a 5 percent guild prize, then break an experience stone for 3.4 million XP. Truly rare searches deserve too repeat now.
There are also tricks where players stay only one XP from a certain level, to make the most of good XP searches in that level range. Also the level of the search has weight. A basic dungeon of level 3 reaches effective level 5 on Elite or Reaper difficulty.
Another side is the table game Darkest Dungeon. Heroes join to finish searches, beat bosses and reach the Darkest Dungeon. The search Old Road gives 2 XP, while the mission Wolves at the Door and all four searches in the Darkest Dungeon award 16 XP each.
Players gather XP andgold from each finished search.
Also worth a quick note is the Drill Doctor DDXP, which is a sharpener for drill bits, made for serious builders and specialists. It fits to sharpen drills from high speed steel, masonry, HSS coated, carbide, cobalt and parabolic twist form.
