💡 Tiebreak Tips
Check the event floor. A one-third opponent floor is common, but local leagues and convention events can use custom thresholds. Match the floor field to the standings policy before comparing players.
Separate byes and opponents. A bye gives match points to the player, but it normally has no opponent record to average. Enter byes in the bye field instead of adding a fake 100% or 0% row.

Pairing systems like swiss attempt to group competitors based off record. Beating people with perfect records show you are better than beating people who lost every match. To award you accordingly, the system will average out how many matches all of your opponents won and give you that as a score. The higher the number, the tougher the competition.
