💡Marriage Card Game Tips
Tip 1 — Always secure your pure sequence first: In Marriage, you cannot declare a win without at least one pure sequence (no joker) and one sequence with joker (the Marriage combination). Prioritize forming these two mandatory melds before chasing sets. Holding high-value unmelded face cards (J, Q, K at 10 pts each) at the end of a round will add heavily to your score total.
Tip 2 — Manage negative scores strategically: Marriage is unique in that scoring goes downward toward zero and into negative territory. A player who completes a Tunnela (-30 pts) and a Marriage sequence (-25 pts) can leap far into negative scores, making it possible to win multiple rounds ahead. Track the gap between the current leader (lowest score) and yourself each round to know how aggressively you need to play.
Marriage is based on three decks that you play in Nepal, Bhutan, Banthara and between the Nepali diaspora. The goal is create sets from three equal cards of same rank, what you call “trials“. When you combine same rank with suit, that calls “tunnel“.

Marriage Card Game: Rules and Tips
Between two and five people can play together. Every player receives 21 cards after they are distributed. The game is famous because of its long duration and strategic nature.
Probably it evolved from similiar games, that you adapted to the local cultures of Nepal.
Everything in Marriage is about points, and every point represents money, that the players must pay each other. Big part of the strategy is to know what throw and what keep, while you try to find where is the joker or the wild card. The version developed by Bhoos include special card called “Superman“.
The game uses three decks together with three Joker cards. Even so, two identical cards with joker is not valid combination, because joker can not do tunnel. Pure sequence of three jokers (ten, queen, king) calls “marriage” and are one from the most precious moves.
Play Marriage is quite simple. During the first half of the game, exist two choices. Player can show three sets or seven pairs of identical cards (dublees).
This second choice is possible only if there are four or more players. Initially, the goal is try to form three pure sequences or tunnels. For do pure sequence, you can use also the Superman card.
Exist some useful tricks for winning. If some created three sequences and mostly they are of one type, for instance spades, then probably he does not have more spades in his hand. Hence, throw spade is good move, because he will not be able to accomplish new consecutive combinations.
