If you learn the Warhammer game, the Dice form the core of everything you do. They decide the results of fights through all parts of the game. Here the base is the six-sided cubes, simply said only D6. Sometimes you use three-sided Dice, called D3, that one does by splitting a D6 roll in two parts.
The whole system depends on those D6.
Games Workshop offers themed sets of Dice, fit for various Warhammer games. A good example is the set for the Old World; it carries 20 Dice. In this group you find 18 normal D6 for the Old World, plus one special artillery cube with numbers 2, 4, 6, 8, 10 and chance for failure, together with a scatter cube.
That helps players greatly for rolls through their games in Warhammer: The Old World. There is also a set with 20 Dice, designed specially for Warhammer: The Horus Heresy. Also, Games Workshop offers choices for particular factions…
For example the Drukhari set of Dice if you play Warhammer 40,000, or the Chaos Grand Alliance set for Age of Sigmar. Both come with 20 Dice. If you want something more small, Citadel has a bunch of six-sided cubes in 12 mm.
Finding Dice for Warhammer, new or used, is not hard. You have options for Necromunda, Blood Bowl, Warhammer 40k, Age of Sigmar and more. The good part is that you can recieve orders shipped from any store of Warhammer.
Size matters a lot for Dice, and players certainly have their favorites. The cubes for the Old World have 16 mm in size. Some favor more small, around 12 mm.
Others want something bigger. Here one finds a center that costs about five pounds for 20 Dice, and it gives good balance between size and price. Cheap cubes from stores like Amazon can seem enough, but they sometimes are too big and feel too heavy in the hand.
If you care about randomness and fairness, precise Dice serve that goal. One makes them from cellulose acetate, fully clear without any bubbles inside and machine cut, so that they role just as well as possible. They have sharp edges, that work on all surfaces.
Competitive players commonly require casino-quality cubes in official events. One testing with more than 600,000 rolls showed how truly random those things are.
There is even an official bag for Dice with a print of Blood Angel. It fits to house around 80 Dice, done from 100% cotton material with 140 gsm weight and size around 14 by 20 cm with one-liter capacity. Warhammer 40,000 Dice Masters are another product that is worth mentioning, it is a sideproduct, where you form teams with homemade Dice andcards in the dark science fiction world of Warhammer 40,000.
